Become a leader in one of our new osteoarthritis practices.  We are seeking licensed nurse practitioners and DNP's with experience in orthopedics, pain management, intra-articular injections, or arthritis treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state for which you are applying (Recent graduates will be considered).

  • Must live within commuting distance of the practice, or willing to relocated to that area.

  • Orthopedic, pain management, or experience with joint injections is preferred, but will train the right candidate.

  • Dedicated, willing to learn, and very dependable work ethic.

  • Good leadership abilities.

  • Friendly, easy-going, positive attitude.

The Daily Duties of an Osteoarthritis Nurse Practitioner

  • Utilize a Mini-C Arm Radiograph/Fluoroscope unit, to take x-rays of patient knees and shoulders.

  • Using contrast fluoroscopy, inject contrast dye into the joint to visualize the joint capsule and confirm the appropriate positioning of the needle.

  • Under fluoroscopic guidance, inject viscosupplementation material into the joint.

  • Draw blood and spin down to extract platelet rich plasma, to re-inject into patient joints.

  • Inject amnion-based fluid as indicated, for regrowth of cartilage.

  • Consult with Physical Therapist and Medical Director on a case-by-case basis, and via weekly case conference calls.

  • Work cross-functionally with other departments such as; billing, scheduling, and owners/managers.

  • Take on a leadership role, within the clinical part of the practice.
